Eastgate Christian Fellowship had its beginnings in the home of Pastor Peter Daignault. As a gathering of mostly Roman Catholics, the Holy Spirit moved in such a way that there was great hunger for the truth and for experiencing God's work both personally and within this small body of believers. In time, this small group of converts left the Roman Catholic Church.

Directed by God, meetings were formed in homes and even in an office. The need then arose for a more central location, and in 1977 property was bought on Cobbs Bridge Road in New Gloucester.

A church with no denominational affiliation, we practice all biblically sound methods in worship, spiritual gifts, teaching and instruction and elder based leadership.

Where we are going……

Today the ministry has continued with people from different backgrounds, religious and non-religious. Many have learned the ways of God, and learned to walk with Him.

Throughout history since Jesus’ day, He has said that He will do the building of the church. That is the challenge to let Him do His work in us, as He sees fit according to His infinite wisdom.

The work of making disciples of Jesus Christ will continue until this age comes to a close.

The question is, will you follow Him?
